A HUGE THANK YOU! ~ and an intro to Hometalk

First off, I want to send a huge

THANK YOU!!!!

to all of you wonderful people who came to visit me and check out my built-in bookcases. To a girl whose love language is Words of Affirmation, my love tank is overflowing. I'm so glad you liked them. We are enjoying them immensely

Throwing out each project into the abyss we call Blogland can be very scary sometimes. The projects you think people will enjoy never receive a comment and little projects you spend two minutes on are loved by many. It's funny, perplexing, and a little anxiety ridden. But after the built-ins, I'm walking on cloud nine.

So, thank you all you sweet people in Blogland for your time, and your kind words.

On a related topic,  have y'all heard of Hometalk? It is a website that is full of home improvement ideas, gardening, and so much more. People post their projects with directions and other people can comment on it or ask questions. I enjoy going on right before I begin a new project to see what I can learn from other DIYers. The first time I heard about them, I had just finished my kitchen renovation. Someone at Hometalk asked me if I would share my kitchen reno on their page. I was so excited!!! It's a very easy process that gives you step by step instructions on how to share. your post. You can also follow your favorite DIYers (HINT! HINT!). I'll follow you if you follow me.

Well, Hometalk was nice enough to ask me to curate a clipboard of beadboard and wood paneling since my kitchen backsplash was beadboard. I looked all through Hometalk for great projects using beadboard and wood paneling. From bathrooms, to backsplashes, to stairs and mudrooms. I even found a ceiling with beadboard. Click on the link above to visit the great project posts. I hope you enjoy the board. I also hope you get inspired to do your own beadboard or plank project.
